A children’s books series for all types of families
10 years ago I tried to find a children’s book to help my young stepdaughter understand her life and family, and why it looks the way it does. What I found was that while there were many resources for the adults going through and living out these lifestyles, there was very little for the kids.
I decided to do something about that.
And The I HAVE Series was born.
My children’s books help kids understand diverse family dynamics. Divorced? I can help. Are you a stepparent? Part of the LGBTQ community? I have children’s books for that, too.

An age-appropriate story that navigates the concept of having a Mom's house and a Dad's house.
